Welcome back to a new school year! There are a lot of changes in place at North Schuylkill such as the Spartan Academy and a new Positive Behavior reward system that will help make our school even better than it already is. I am so excited to start this journey with you! Let's make it a great year.
English 7
This week we will spend 2 days reviewing rules and procedures for the year. It is my belief that setting a solid foundation at the start of the school year will help us move more efficiently and effectively through our studies for the next 9 months. During the second half of the week we will complete our first writing assignment and we will have the opportunity to get to know one another better.
Parents and Guardians: Please be advised that there will be several forms coming home that need to be returned either to your students' homeroom teacher or their classroom teachers. For English 7, I will be sending home a behavior contract that lays out my expectations for the year as well as consequences for not rising to meet those expectations. Please sign this contract and, if possible, to provide me with an email address I can use to contact you throughout the school year. This contract is due back to me by Friday, September 1st.

Thursday: Get behavior contract signed (DUE TOMORROW!)
Friday: Read something you enjoy for at least 10 minutes!
