Students in English 7 will finish working specifically with prepositions this week by taking and then correcting their quiz. We will also review work from last week, which will be collected for points. Students in English 8 will be practicing and finishing work with vocabulary Unit 4 and will have a quiz on those words on Tuesday.
English 7
Students will take a quiz on prepositions on Monday and begin working on their Week 7 Paragraph bellringer. Students will complete day 1 after their quiz.
On Tuesday, we will review The Run part 6. This was the assignment from Friday and it must be complete by the start of class on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, students will complete their mid-year CDT benchmark assessment. This will be due on week from Thursday, but Thursday and Friday will be the only two days in class to complete the assignment. Students should see me for a pass to complete this assignment in the school library during AC prep if necessary. This assignment cannot be completed outside of school.
When students finish CDTs, they will have the opportunity to complete corrections for their preposition quiz. The corrections will be a grade separate from the quiz grade. Students must complete all corrections to receive credit for this assignment. Corrections will be due Monday, 1/20.

Students will practice their Unit 4 vocabulary words at the beginning of the week to prepare for this quiz on this unit. Students will take the Unit 4 vocabulary quiz on Tuesday, 1/14.
