Students in 7th grade will begin work for their persuasive essays. Students in 8th grade will finish work on Flowers for Algernon.

Students will be extending what they learned in Language Arts about evaluating arguments this week in English class. This will culminate in a persuasive essay, which will be the summative assessment of the unit. Students will receive all essay requirements and practice thesis writing this week. Week 10 language bellringers are due Friday and will be worth 20 points.
