Week of October 15th

This week is a short week and I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! Students in 7th grade will continue working on their pen-pal letters. The final draft of the letters will be due on Friday. Students in 8th grade will begin the week reviewing nouns, pronouns, and action verbs. We will then apply that in a short group project on Elie Wiesel Nobel Prize acceptance speech.

English 7
Students will complete their Week 3 language bellringer this week. It will be due on Friday.

On Tuesday, students will complete their rough draft of their letter to their pen-pal. On Wednesday, students will peer edit their letters and they will be corrected and collected. After being graded, students will write their final draft of their letter on paper that is provided.
Reminder: Students may (it is their choice) include a photograph of themselves with their pen pal letter. If you would like to include a picture, please bring it in by Friday.
