Students in periods 6, 7 and 8 were given the option of a remediation assignment to help them differentiate between different types of verbs instead of Elie Weisel's acceptance speech.
The assignments is as follows:
Write the definitions for each of the following verbs 15 times.
Each definition will be worth 1 point.
The assignment will be worth 45 points and will be due tomorrow, 10/30/19.
Action verb- something you can do with your mind or body
Linking verb- connects the subject to a word in the predicate
Helping verb- works with the main verb
Please be advised: Students who choose this assignment and do not complete it will experience a drop in their marking period 1 grade. Students who choose this assignment and complete it will experience a rise in their marking period 1 grade.
