Students in English 7 are continuing with their research papers. Students in English 8 are practicing passage and answer sets in conjunction with completing a writing assignment about possible career goals and aspirations.

Week 6 language bellringer will be due Friday, 12/13.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the schedule for the seventh grade research papers has changed. The new due date for research papers is December 20, 2019. This is a half-day and the last day of school before winter break. Students must have research papers typed and ready to submit by their class period on 12/20.
The new anticipated schedule for research papers is as follows:
12/11- read and annotate articles
12/12- type introduction
12/13- 12/16- type body paragraphs
12/17- type conclusion paragraph
12/18- create works cited using EasyBib
12/19- proof read and peer edit
12/20- essays due
Homework
Be sure you are on schedule for the research paper as above. If you are not, you must catch up outside of class by working in the library during AC prep, working from home, or working at your local library.
English 8
Week 6 language bellringer will be due Friday, 12/13.
Students will review the passage "Portrait of a Journalist" and answer corresponding questions. This will be graded and collected. Students will also revise and submit their Nellie Bly writing assignments.
